Assassin’s Creed available for pre-purchase on Steam

Steam have announced that Assassin’s Creed and a slew of other Ubisoft titles, are being released on Steam.

Assassin’s Creed is available for pre-order on Steam now. Can it get any better than this? Direct downloads are the way of the future, i eagerly await the day when we’ll be able to buy ALL OUR GAMES from Steam, less time traveling to the games shop and more time playing!


HoboGamer is a devout PC Gamer, who loves his budget hardware and getting the most bang for his buck, i.e cheap-skate.

    hehe hobo style, nice i might have to copyright that line :P, on the topic of cheap games, i love the pre-Xmas sales at EB, i got Star Wars: Empire at War Gold Edition ( Original game + 2 expansions i think ) for $10 last year, and i recently found Hitman: Contracts for $10 so i got that too, i enjoyed Hitman: Blood Money so yeah :)

    By the way, have you seen the Hitman movie? I missed it at the cinemas but it probably wasn’t worth the ticket price, i have heard some OK reports about it but i’m a little apprehensive to watch game-to-film adaptations these days, i’ve been burnt by the likes of Doom and Uwe Boll’s “Alone in the Dark”, he thoroughly destroyed that last one, and i loved the original PC version, reminded me of 4D Boxing (anyone remember that?) with their oversized block heads, but damn that was the best boxing game i’ve ever played :)

    pretty sweet movie, the guy voice need a bit of work but his acting are 2 thumbs up. Lots of action and the music and sound effects are top notch, and the storyline are pretty good!

    Hitman have his soft side for women and the main female actor are pretty hwat =]

    Yawn, that game was dull, Im glad they didnt slap it on the pc for a change but i got bigger fish to reel in.
